Enjoy and explore Puerto Rico! This is your opportunity to swim in the beautiful Caribbean sea, climb to the top of mountains, and practice yoga on sandy beaches. Feel the power of this natural environment and reflect inward with two yoga practices everyday, morning and sunset.

 

Puerto Rico is known for its lush national parks, tropical forests, and fantastic beaches. On this retreat,
you will explore an impressive array of natural wonders, accessible tropical rain forests, palm-shade beaches, caves and river canyons, bioluminescent lagoons, bird-rich dry scrub, and a central mountain range more than 4,000 feet high. This adventure will provide you an opportunity to explore many of these natural wonders!

Expert and experienced guide services with wilderness first aid certification, as well as extensive knowledge and experience in the islands of Puerto Rico.

Itinerary:

Day 1: 

  • Arrive into San Juan by 2pm. 

  • We will explore Old San Juan in the evening, including a tour of a 500 year old fortress, San Cristóbal, where we will channel our inner warrior through an all levels Vinyasa flow, building strength and brevity through a variety of Asana led by our personal Yoga instructor. 

  • Spend 2 nights in San Juan.

 

Day 2: 

  • Salute the sun as we practice an energizing Yoga flow on the beach. 

  • Afterwards, we start our day with a hike traversing the El Yunque Rainforest, the only tropical rainforest in the US. Here you will experience the best hiking on the island with cascading waterfalls and animal species found nowhere else in the world! It’s a hike like no other!! 

  • At night, we will explore Fajardo Bioluminescent Bay among millions of dinoflagellates that light up like fireflies in the water, making this a truly unique and magical encounter. 

  • Then we will unwind with a restorative Yoga practice under the stars, serenaded by the frogs singing around us.

 

Day 3: 

  • Start the day with a ferry ride to Isla Culebra in Eastern Puerto Rico. 

  • Spend the day by the sea in some of the most beautiful beaches in the world with snorkeling, kayaking or SUP options, including an invigorating SUP Yoga flow. 

  • Brilliant sunset Yoga as we relax and unwind through gentle movements and guided meditation, meant to replenish the mind and body.

  • Spend 1 night in Culebra. 

 

Day 4: 

  • Refresh with a morning Yoga practice along the beach. 

  • Enjoy a relaxing morning exploring the beaches and wild areas in Culebra 

  • Mid-day Ferry to The Main  island. 

  • Spend 1 night in Ponce.

 

Day 5: 

  • Enjoy an early morning Vinyasa Yoga flow in Ponce, designed to strengthen mind and body, while growing flexibility. 

  • Our day then starts with a hike to Indian Cave, nestled in the heart of the Sierra Maestra. We will discover wonderful rock formations, bats colonies, and a surprising view at the end of the cave. 

  • For a peaceful intermission, we will tour a local coffee plantation before heading off to our second hike of the day at Toro Negro State Forest.

  • Practice tadasana and other balance improving postures as we participate in a private Yoga flow in the Mountains. 

  • Spend 1 Night in Ponce.

 

Day 6: 

  • Spend the morning in Ponce historical district before we return back to San Juan.


 

Meet the instructor:

 

Ashley K Price is a ERYT 200, YACEP, and certified personal trainer, body worker, and aquatics specialist. Offering a wide range of classes that appeal to all levels of practitioners from beginner to advanced, youth to seniors. One on one personal training and group classes are designed to encourage overall wellness and physical fitness. They include power yoga, vinyasa flow, restorative, stand up paddle board yoga, mommy and me, prenatal yoga, post natal fit, chair yoga, HIIT, dance, assisted stretch therapy, strength and conditioning, agility training, aquatic training, and energy healing work. With a goal of making fitness fun while creating healthy habits and breaking down personal barriers.


$300 deposit per person. Full refundable to 30 days prior to trip.
Final payment is 45 days prior to trip.
Single person accommodations available with advanced request.
